Fossils is a pioneering Bengali hard rock band formed in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, in 1998 by singer-songwriter Rupam Islam. Known for blending blues, psychedelic rock, and hard rock with psychoanalytical and socially conscious lyrics, they became a defining voice of youth angst and resistance in the Bangla rock scene.
